Company History "TiLC", began as part of Dorothy Parham's dream and was part of her organization "God's Healing Power Band", whch was founded in 1983. TiLC 's Homeless Program started in 1990, when a group of homeless men came to help them obtain a lease on a four family house, located at 599 Monre Avenue. Mrs. Parham obtained the lease and the ten (10) homeless men moved in, this was the beginning of the "TiLC" Transitional Housing Program. TiLC is a non-profit organization which provides housing and meals for Rochester's homeless individual. | JUST SO YOU KNOW TiLC has provided over 1,000,000 meals to homeless individuals and families. TiLC has provided shelter to over 1,000 homeless individuals TiLC totally depends upon donations, private foundations, area churches and volunteers to operate the programs. TiLC has a dining area located at 1443 East Main Street, where homeless individuals and families are served a hot meal every Monday through Friday at 5:OOpm. TiLC also provides emergency food and clothing to needy individuals and families.
